Important Notes – Nanaimo Swim Meet
We're heading to Nanaimo for a fun and competitive swim meet that includes preliminary heats, finals, novice events — and even a parent relay!
🏊♀️ Heats & Finals Format
This is a heats and finals meet. Preliminary heats will be circle seeded by category:
Divisions 1–3 and O-Cat 1
Divisions 4–8 and O-Cat 2
After the morning prelims, A and B finals will be swum for each division.
Top 3 finishers earn medals
4th–12th place earn ribbons
🌧️ Be Ready for the Weather
Nanaimo’s meet is held at an outdoor pool, and in past years it’s often meant rain and grey skies. Please come prepared for all kinds of weather — tarps, tents, jackets, and lots of layers are a good idea!
Get ready for an exciting weekend of racing at Nanaimo's outdoor swimming facility! Look for the CV Breakers tent on the grassy area and join us in cheering on our swimmers.
