Cancellation Policy
An existing swimmer will not have their fees reimbursed if they choose to discontinue their membership with the Cowichan Valley Breakers unless they have a medical reason for doing so. Notice of a medical reason must be given in writing to the club registrar and a full or partial refund will be considered based on timing of the event(s).
Refunds will be considered if a swimmer has a participation ending injury prior to the half way point of the session. Acute or short term injury refunds will not be considered.
A full refund will be given to swimmers that submit cancellation requests within 3 days prior to the session start date.
NEW SWIMMERS ONLY
(A new swimmer is someone who has never been registered with the Cowichan Valley Breakers in a previous session.)
New swimmers are eligible for a one-week trial period. During this time, families may withdraw from the club and receive a full refund, minus insurance and processing fees.
Special circumstances may be submitted to the Board of Directors for consideration of requests for fee credits.
Swimmer Transition Process
All swimmer transitions between levels or programs must be formally requested and approved before implementation by submitting your request to: registrar@cvbreakers.ca
The Registrar will review the request with support from the swimmer’s coach(es) for eligibility and capacity. A response to the request will be provided in written approval or denial via email to all parties. If approved, the swimmer can begin training in the new level or program, and the Registrar will update registration and billing records as needed.
