Coach In Training (CIT)

The Club offers a volunteer coaching program which our Club calls Coach-In-Training. Below is the criterion for those swimmers wishing to take part in this program. Our Club offers the British Columbia Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) training course every odd year, or more if demand is high. There is a cost to this course, please ask for details and when program offered. This program is a great start to those Senior Swimmers wishing to expand their swimming knowledge and want to learn to be a coach.

The CIT program runs from October until the weekend following Pain Week. After that time the swimmers are expected to focus on their personal swimming development leading up to the VI Regional Championships and/or BCSSA Provincial Speed Swimming Championships.
